A Career Built From the Ground Up
Joanna Perry earned a finance degree from Sacramento State University and began her career in consumer lending, working through every operational role in the industry including credit underwriting, closing, notary services, loan servicing, and payment collection. She went on to work as a mortgage banker at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, gaining institutional experience across multiple branches and loan programs. She later moved to a smaller retail company to access a broader range of products, where she recognized that big banks limit what their loan officers can offer. In 2008, when the housing market collapsed, Joanna stayed in the industry and built her business on a simple principle: people over profits. Today, The Loan Lady Club operates entirely on referrals. No paid advertising. No cold calls. Just clients who trust her enough to send their families and friends.
